1. Why is the image blurry
A blurry image typically indicates incorrect camera focus. Because AI Camera 2.0 uses an adjustable focus lens, you can manually rotate the lens to sharpen the image.
2. Why does the image automatically flip
AI Camera 2.0 contains a gyroscope that automatically flips the image when it detects the lens is rotated into selfie mode. This feature is disabled in the line following feature due to scenario requirements.
Tip: The flip occurs once the lens reaches a horizontal position.
3. How do I control the fill light
You can turn the fill light on or off using either of the methods:
- Press and hold the Learn button on the device.
- Use the corresponding programming block in the mBlock software.
4. What are the side ports used for
The side ports are reserved for future expansion and provide UART, I2C, and PWM interfaces for use with third-party peripherals. Please note that the software support for these features is currently under development.
5. All camera-related applications suddenly fail to open and an error message is returned. Why?
AI Camera 2.0 has a TF card inside it. This TF card carries the system data of AI Camera 2.0 and is bound with this device. If this TF card is removed and another TF card is inserted into AI Camera 2.0, camera-related applications will fail to open with an error message prompted.
Solution:
- Reinsert the original TF card. This will restore normal functionality.
- If the original TF card is unavailable, reflash the system image and perform an online activation. For detailed instructions, please refer to System Upgrade of AI Camera 2.0.
