Mode selection

Use the mode switch on the controller to select one of the following three modes.
Mode selection.png
M1: Button mode
The controller transmits only button inputs and does not send gyroscope data. This mode is suitable for button-based operations, such as remote control and menu navigation.
M2: Gyroscope mode
The controller transmits only gyroscope data and does not respond to button inputs. This mode is suitable for scenarios that require sensor data, such as motion sensing and posture control.
M3: Hybrid mode
The controller transmits button inputs and gyroscope data simultaneously. This mode is suitable for scenarios that require control operations and motion sensing.

Shutdown

Press the pairing button on the controller to power it off. After shutdown, the LED indicator turns off.

Gyroscope calibration

When the controller is powered off, place it flat, then press the reconnection button Reconnection button.jpg and the + button simultaneously. The controller will enter gyroscope calibration mode.

Sleep mode

The controller will automatically enter sleep mode in the following situations:
  • Bluetooth pairing is not completed within 1 minute after powering on.
  • During reconnection, a connection with the CyberPi is not established within 1 minute.
  • After successful Bluetooth pairing, the controller is not used within 15 minutes.

Charging

Use a Type-C cable to connect the controller to a charging device through the USB port on the controller. During charging, the LED indicator on the controller will blink slowly. When charging is complete, the LED indicator will remain solid.

Low battery warning
After the controller is successfully connected to CyberPi, if the LED indicator blinks, it indicates that the controller’s battery is low and needs to be charged.

Controller firmware update

  1. Connect the controller to your computer using a USB Type-C cable.

Note: During the controller firmware update process, ensure that Wireless Controller Mini is disconnected from CyberPi or any other devices. Otherwise, the update may fail.

  1. Download and open the update program [MakeX_Controller_UPDATE_Vx.x.exe] we provide.
  2. Select the "Start" button on the program interface and wait for the update to complete.
