Troubleshooting Steps
1. If you created the Line following program yourself, please send us the complete program file to check and test.
2. If you are running the built-in line following mode of the product, please make sure that the product is in factory firmware and switched to the correct mode (LED light is blue). At the same time, you can test whether Obstacle avoidance and Infrared remote control modes are functioning properly. Here is the user guide about the preset modes: Use the Preset Modes of mBot
3. By default, the line-following sensor needs to be connected to port 2 of mCore. Otherwise, you need to make sure that the interface set in the program is consistent with the actual one.
4. If other preset modes are normal, please test whether the line following sensor is faulty as follows:
- Place the Line follower on a white table or paper (detection range: 1~2cm) and check if the two corresponding LEDs on the sensor light up.
- Move it away from the white desk or white paper and check if the two LEDs corresponding to the two sensors turn off?
- If the LED corresponding to each sensor lights up when you put the sensor above a white paper/desk and goes off when it is away from white paper/desk, which means the line follower sensor is ok. Otherwise, the sensor should be faulty.
