When AI Camera 2.0 receives a major update, you will need to upgrade the system using the image package we provide.

Flash image

Step 1: Obtain the image package.

• V1.5 image package

Step 2: Connect one end of a USB cable to your computer.

Step 3: Press and hold the Learn button on AI Camera 2.0, and connect the other end of the USB cable to AI Camera 2.0 at the same time. When a new drive appears on your computer, release the Learn button.

Step 4: Use balenaEtcher to flash the image to AI Camera 2.0. (The flashing process takes about 5 minutes.)

Connect Wi-Fi and install runtime

After the flashing is complete, follow the steps below to enter the Settings page, connect to Wi-Fi, and install the runtime.

⚠️ Reminder: If the runtime is not installed after flashing, recognition features such as gesture recognition and pose recognition will not function properly.

1. Tap Settings.

 

2. Ensure that the network is available, and then click WIFI.

 

• Option 1: Click Scan QR to connect to Wi-Fi by scanning the Wi-Fi's QR code.

 

• Option 2: Click Scan to search for nearby Wi-Fi networks, enter the password, and then click Connect.

 

3. Return to the Settings page and click Install Runtime to check if the device has completed the automatic upgrade.

 

Once the upgrade is finished, the Current field will display the device code.
