The Product Cannot Move After Turning on

This article applies to mBot Ultimate 2.0

1. Issue Description

After the product is powered and turned on, it does not follow the program or app control commands to run. Or the machine lights and sounds can change normally, but the wheels won't move.

2. Possible Causes

  1. Program code error
  2. Abnormal power supply
  3. Failure of motor or motherboard parts

3. Troubleshooting Steps

For the above reasons, you can check the following points one by one.

  1. If using a self-created program to control the machine, you can send us the program file first to confirm. In the meantime, you can simply test if the problem persists by using the official program available on the Makeblock Support website. (Note: In this case, please build the product in original Robotic Arm Tank form)

  1. If you use the battery holder to supply power, it is recommended to install new Nanfu AA batteries. If this way still can not drive the motor operation, you can switch to the official USB cable topower it for test. If the USB power supply also causes move obstacles, it is best to directly use Makeblock's rechargeable lithium battery pack, which basically solves the problems caused by abnormal power supply.
  1. If the above steps do not solve the problem, and there is also the possibility of hardware failure such as motors, please contact the support team to confirm the subsequent solution.

4. Still Need Help?

If the problem is not resolved, please contact us via service@makeblock.com with the necessary details of the fault, such as order number, operation video, device firmware and software version.
