1. Download the latest version of the mBlock software: https://mblock.cc/pages/downloads. Or you can directly enter the mBlock web version for operation (recommended use of Google Chrome): https://ide.makeblock.com/

2. Turn on the Ranger's power switch and connect it to your computer with the original USB cable.

3. Choose the mBot Ranger extension in the device library (if there is a green arrow in the upper right corner of the device, click on the arrow first to update the device plugin)

4. Click Connect and note that you do not need to tick the “Show all connectable devices” box.

5. Click the “Firmware Update” button in the Settings section after successful connection and wait for the progress to complete. (Please do not exit or close the current page during the update process)
