This article applies to the 2.4G version of mBot.
1. Preparation

Use a computer with at least Windows 7 / macOS Sierra 10.12 or higher.

Take out the 2.4G module and adapter that came with the product.
2. Step by Step
Simply plug to play, no drivers or pairing required.

Install the 2.4G module into the mCore of mBot according to the instruction manual, and plug the adapter into the USB port of your computer, then turn on the Power Switch of mBot.

Open mBlock, click Add under the “Device” section, and choose mBot to add.
- Click Connect, and operate Connect button on the 2.4G option in the pop-up window. After the connection is successful, mBlock 5 displays the 2.4G icon message, indicating that 2.4G is connected.
3. Please Note
The firmware of mBot cannot be updated through 2.4G connection. If mBlock 5 prompts you to update the mBot firmware during programming, please disconnect from 2.4G connection first, and then connect the mBot to mBlock 5 via USB. After the update is completed, you can switch back 2.4G connection.
