How to Update Firmware for MegaPi

This article applies to MegaPi motherboard or mBot Ultimate 2.0.

Please Note

Since the mBot Ultimate 1.0 machine looks similar to the 2.0 version, some users who own the Ultimate 1.0 may mistake it for the 2.0 version.
However, the motherboards for the two versions are different (Orion for the Ultimate 1.0 kit, MegaPi for the Ultimate 2.0 kit), so be sure to check your machine model and add the correct device extension when updating the firmware.
Note:  If your product is a Starter Robot Kit, you need to add the Orion extension to update the firmware as well.

Operation Steps

  1. Download the latest version of mBlock software or directly enter the web version to operate: https://mblock.cc/pages/downloads

  1. Turn on the Power Switch on the machine's motherboard and connect the robot to your computer using the original USB cable.

  1. Open mBlock, enter the device library and add the Ultimate 2.0 device extension (if there is a green arrow in the upper right corner of the device, click on the arrow to update the device plugin first)
