5. Troubleshooting CH340 Driver Issues

This article applies to:

mBot2, mBot Neo, and CyberPi.

 

In a Nutshell

When the driver is not working properly, you may see the below messages.

#1 When you upgrade the firmware, a window pops up, saying "Firmware Update Failed".

#2 When you Connect the device via the USB cable, a window pops up, saying"Connection Failed"

Step by Step

1. Check if the driver is functioning properly according to the steps below.

 

If not, the driver if faulty. Please move on the to next step.

2. Uninstall the existing driver first and install CH340 drivers from the official website.
