Part 3 Steps

[For beginners: Make sure that the mTiny robot and tap pen controller are powered before use. The following figures show how to charge the mTiny robot and tap pen controller.]

1. Check the battery level: when the indicators on both sides of the mTiny robot turn solid green, the mTiny robot is fully charged. You can tilt the mTiny robot at a 45-degree angle to check the current battery level from the eyes of the mTiny robot.

2. Turn on the mTiny robot: rotate the knob on the back of the mTiny robot clockwise to turn on the mTiny robot. When you hear a click, the mTiny robot is turned on. You can rotate the knob to adjust the volume after the mTiny robot is turned on.

3. Turn on the tap pen controller: long press the side button of the tap pen controller to turn on the tap pen controller. When the tap pen controller is turned on, the indicators of the joystick and the two buttons on the front of the tap pen controller are blue, and when the battery is low, they are red.

4. Pair the tap pen controller with the mTiny robot: after the mTiny robot and tap pen controller are turned on, tilt the mTiny robot at a 45-degree angle to check the battery level. If the indicators of the joystick and two buttons on the front of the tap pen controller blink blue, it indicates unsuccessful pairing. Press the upper button on the front and the side button of the tap pen controller simultaneously to pair the tap pen controller with the mTiny robot. During the pairing process, keep the tap pen controller close to the mTiny robot and make sure that there are no other mTiny robots turned on nearby. When the eyes of the mTiny robot show the battery level, it indicates successful pairing.

5. Make the mTiny robot move (way 1): pair the tap pen controller with the mTiny robot, and push the joystick to check whether the mTiny robot moves. If the mTiny robot does not move, press the two buttons on the front and the side button of the tap pen controller simultaneously. After the tap pen controller vibrates, you can use the remote-control function.

6. Make the mTiny robot move (way 2): after you pair the tap pen controller with the mTiny robot, use the tap pen controller to touch the instruction cards, and then the mTiny robot will move following the instructions on the instruction cards.

Part 4 Practice

Make the mTiny robot move along a specified route by using the tap pen controller to touch the instruction cards.
